Pressure and Emotion Management Lecture Edit Date:2011/06/28



Nowadays, it seems that everyone faces a lot of pressure. With the development of civilization and diversification of society, people have to play different roles. One can be an employee, a supervisor, a boss or others’ colleague in the workplace; one can be a wife /husband, a mother/father, or a child in family life. Even if in leisure life there are many roles one has to play, for example, friends. Most of the time, people try their best to act well in different roles but sometimes they fail. As a result, such failures always turn into pressure.

On June 28, GDE gave a training called “Create Excellent Life with Heart-- Psychological Training of Pressure and Emotion Management”, inviting a senior psychology professor from Hua Dong Normal University to be the lecturer. GDE leaders, managers, directors and technical backbones had listened to the lecture.

The professor started with what pressure was its origin and how to manage it. He taught his listeners how to face frustrations apart from learning to manage one’s own emotion, especially the managers and the hardcore employees. They should help their subordinates and people around release the pressure so that they can improve the work efficiency. During the training, the professor humorously explained some related theories and gave many examples in daily life that how to correctly face pressure and how to make it work positively in life and work. Besides, he evoked his listeners’ enthusiasm and then they all took part in discussion. As last, the training ended in the rapturous applause.

The expectation of the training was to make the employees know the main causes of pressure so that they can find out the solutions to release their pressure and stabilize their emotion. Only in this way can they work relaxedly and live happily.
